Leadership for Gainesville
"During my first term in office, I’ve focused on public safety and economic development as ways to make a difference for Gainesville. By creating a multi-faceted approach to making the city’s hospitality districts safer and less costly for the Gainesville taxpayer, I am using a pragmatic approach on how to manage having more than 60,000 college-aged residents within our city limits. I’ve supported numerous efforts to capitalize on the creative capacity of Gainesville to be a great university community to reach the true potential of the city’s eastside and core neighborhoods. Protecting the quality of the environment—improving it when possible—is also a crucial value I hold. Finally, it’s important to protect and enhance the unique character that is Gainesville—and it takes a leader with common sense to continue to make a difference for our city. Please vote to reelect me to serve all of Gainesville’s residents for three more years."

- The numerous changes to landlord licensing to give the city more tools to protect our neighborhoods
- Supporting the ten-year plan for homelessness in Gainesville and Alachua County
- Providing for more thoughtful development respecting the environment and neighbors in large projects such as Hatchet Creek
